LG 42LH30 Review - LG 42LH30 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black

This TV meets every expectation I had for it. I am blown away by the quality of the images in HD on Blu-ray. The sound is very clean and crisp. For those who want to feel like getting a surround sound, we do not expect from standard TV, use the hundreds you saved on your TV and get a decent 5.1 system. Back to TV ... regular TV channels look great, and dont get distorted when stretched to full screen. Overall I would recommend this TV for those who want the best bang for your buck. I garuntee you will be happy with this purchase! Read more reviews.

Toshiba REGZA 42ZV650U Review - Toshiba REGZA 42ZV650U 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with ClearScan 240, Black

We bought the Toshiba from Amazon 42ZV650U sold by J & R Music for a low low price of $ 759 delivered. We ordered on Tuesday morning and was delivered on Friday the same week. I did not expect a high quality HDTV at this price, but after un-boxing and setting up the Wow Factor with a.

This HDTV is simply an amazing image quality. The sound is perfect for our bedroom. My wife has even said we should buy the 55 "model for our stay. You can not do that because we have a nice Mitsubishi WS-65,813 now, which TV can not beat the quality of the images that we have had for more than 5 years. However, if it goes completely out and can not be repaired I would have pulled the trigger on the 55 "model instead. I connected an Apple Mac Mini as a media server the bedroom to the TV via HDMI and it seems wonderful. (NOTE When connecting a mini to the TV via HDMI to change the screen mode native to fit the screen.) If you decide to buy this TV does not hesitate, because the quality that your looking for a TV in the $ 2K is in the lowest price Toshiba ZV650U series. Enjoy! Read more reviews.

Panasonic X1 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Panasonic VIERA X1 Series TC-L26X1 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

I made a lot of shopping and hesitated to buy this TV at first. It has been perfect for what I needed. E 'lightweight and easy to move (because I do a lot of movement) and HD looks great.

Two HDMI ports, which is enough for me (using your PC for viewing and for my xbox 360). Audio is excellent, picture is even better. The Netflix HD streaming through my 360 and it seems wonderful, and games look great too.

Added the iPod dock is rather strange, but I wish not to be in "iPod" on the TV to listen to music.

As a monitor, the screen is big, has had to do a lot of adjustment, when I used HDMI though. The standard PC input seems as good as the HDMI too, but do not have any sound unless you use the speakers of the course.

If I need another TV I would certainly buy another, it is money well spent. Read more reviews.

Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-40V5100 Review - Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-40V5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

Sony KDL-40V5100 Review, Nice HDTV for its size. After playing around with the settings, watch TV, play and make some use of some standard DVD and blue ray through it here is what I observed.

* For obvious reasons, the PS3 does a better job showing the standard DVD. Upscaling DVD through a PS3 makes it look great much better (and worse), which may give rise to all the double dipping issue.

* By the way, I met a few standard DVD movies through just to get an idea of how it would look and if I would consider getting the blue ray and here is what I saw:

Star Trek II and III Collector's Edition - @ 120Hz that does not age well at all. Between these 2 and Undiscovered Country, were my faves and the only ones I would consider getting the blue ray, but the upscaling makes it look very grainy and "false".

Sky Captain, 300 and Minority Report - because of how they were shot, (the graininess and sepia tones which were used), the graphics are a mixed bag. I prefer to see them in standard definition. 60Hz to 120Hz to

Saving Private Ryan - does it really well upscaled to 120Hz. I would be curious to see how this appears on Blu Ray.

Predator II - another film that did not fare well in upscaling @ 120Hz

Star Wars ESB and Rotja - Looked surprisingly good for upscaling @ 120Hz. Many smaller details I never saw really stood out. I will test the newer ones later.

Lord of the Rings - @ 120Hz, I can wait for the extended edition of the blue ray coming out.

The Godfather - @ 120Hz looks great too.

The Incredibles - seemed incredible @ 120Hz

* Popped in a few HD-DVD (yes, I have mine still attached to my 360) and received luxury 120Hz. No surprise.

* Gaming-wise resolution is a bit 'better. Dragon Age on 360 looks sharper and fruit and vegetables now. MW2 ago, but also motionblur could be better.

Assassin's Creed on PS3 really stands out and made me go into consideration some of my cross-platform titles, leaving the 360 for the PS3.

* TV wise - one thing I learned is that I cannot turn my FIOS box all the way up to 1080i. TV and the box is not registered. Go as 720p and then the TV upscales to 1080p presumably the pic (not sure if this is true at 100%). With all the settings, the image quality is as good as the channel and the show was filmed. Depending on whether you can consider this as irritating is run at 120hz with all the settings, you risk some of the most important features Turing off, while watching normal TV. Some of the Hi Def stations had some problems. Read more reviews.

Samsung PN58B650 Review - Samsung PN58B650 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

I ordered this Samsung PN58B650 TV with a little 'of hesitation due to the observations in a lot of buzz
reviews. Happy to report my set not peeps. I live in IL where we are at about 600 m above sea level. I heard higher elevations will cause problems with hum on plasma TV.

The delivery was fast and simple, orderly and Monday I received on Wednesday afternoon. The picture is absolutely beautiful. you'll quickly notice that the colors are brilliant and how well this series deals with conflict. Obviously out of the box I had to tone down the color (it was in torch mode shop), but after some tweaking and adjustment this is as good as it can get. I have a big picture of the day.

Blu Rays look through my PS3 as well as play. I also use an Xbox 360, Wii and I have an iMac that I run with this TV for my Blu Ray back-up, is stored on an external HD. Look through Cnet and Consumer Reports and see how well they rated this Samsung PN58B650 TV. Go for it! Read more reviews.

Samsung PN42B450 Review - Samsung PN42B450 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV

Samsung PN42B450 is Great Budget TV, Good connections, collect my digital cable channels directly from the co-ax (Comcast, North Boston). My only complaint is that the TV needs to be dusted every day. I have a cat, and this is the problem. Nothing that I attract dust like this TV. The black bezels around the screen really show the dirt, but the screen remains relatively free of dust.

I bought directly from Amazon. E 'provided by a particular carrier including planned delivery and installation. The delivery happened in time, in a minor snow fall. The installation was fast and professional. A TV perfect shopping experience.

Only downside is that, apparently, plasma TVs have pixels less than LCD screens. This means that while the shape of the screen is 16:9, the number of pixels is 4:3 (1024x768). Somehow the shape of the pixel screen makes this "wide". A little 'disappointed when I realized that, but the image quality is decent for the content that I'm seeing (Hulu, YouTube, DVD). Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-46Z5100 Review - Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-46Z5100 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV

Sony KDL46Z5100 is a great TV. I bought this HDTV after doing a fair amount of research and have already had a Sony 46 "XBR4 which has an incredible picture quality with 120Hz. The unit is also packaged by Sony and the pedestal can be easily installed on the bottom of 'units. This TV is much lighter than the XBR4 and I have been able to tackle alone assembly. It' was so easy to set this TV and I hooked it up to an Onkyo surround sound system and Sony Blu-Ray BDP-N460 (this is the drive that lets you connect to Internet via LAN) player. a few minutes I was up and running with Netflix watching a movie. The color on this TV is fantastic. I've seen a few games to watch 240Hz which makes the difference - and it makes a huge difference and you can also change the settings of your TV. Everything is crystal clear and super strong and there is no obfuscation that I have noticed the rapid movement of images! There are a lot of jacks on this unity of which the characteristic of a LAN Ethernet connection. This is great if you do not have the ability to connect to the Internet using a Blu-Ray has the characteristics of the network. As part of the installation program on television asking if you want to connect to home network.

There is a firmware download available for this Sony KDL46Z5100 TV from the Sony website. You can download the 30MB file to your computer and copy on a USB Flashdrive. Although I do not see any reason to upgrade the firmware, I decided to do it anyway. I downloaded the file from the Sony support site on the Internet and then copied the files to a Sony MicroVault USB flash drive and then popped into the back of the TV. Almost immediately, the TV recognized the files and gave step by step instructions for upgrading. It took a total of about 3 minutes to load the file and the TV has gone in and out about three times with warning screens are not concerned about the power key. After that, the TV said the update was done and I went back to watch a great picture. I was told that Sony will also send you update the firmware on a USB device, if you have a USB drive.

The remote was bigger than I expected, and every button imaginable on it. It has a feature that I thought was lit so great that he could see the keys in the dark. Because the TV is great if you intend to use the pedestal with the TV, you should set the TV to the stand or wall. I put the straps around the base to secure the support that supports the weight of your TV so that children do not accidentally tip the television on. I bought a set of straps (velcro buckle) at Home Depot for about $ 5, which I used on another LCD television with great results. In fact, they worked great and better than other products advertised on the Internet. They promised the TV firmly to avoid possible acquisitions tip.

The TV looks great on the piano black gloss and is thinner than the old model Sony LCD TV's. I hope to have the TV for a long time. Read more reviews.

Samsung LN32B460 Review - Samsung LN32B460 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

This Samsung LN32B460 HDTV is "only" 720p (even though it will accept a 1080p signal good) and not "120 Hz", but here are a few things to think about.

In 32, the pixel density is greater than 52 "at 1080p. Unless you use it as a computer monitor or sitting very close, your eyes just can not collect the additional detail. "120 Hz" is a buzz word and if it is true that faster is better in LCDs, but you need to look deeper. A panel of low quality that is "120 Hz" is not satisfactory. On the other hand, the high quality of the panel 60 Hz will be more than enough. Not to mention that are not of high quality panels 120Z, but the cost will obviously much more.

In my opinion, this Samsung LN32B460 HDTV is a panel of high quality and spend more is a waste for the vast majority of people. I associated this with the Panasonic BD60 and the results are phenomenal. Up-scaled DVD looks wonderful and I really do not think you can tell the difference between Blu-ray across the room (again, density of pixels). Viewing angle is better than I expected, the contrast is large, blacks are blacks so that you can hardly notice the difference in a dark room between black next to the frame and the frame itself. The screen is a bit 'ruffled so reflections are manageable. The verdict is still out on sound, these speakers are better than I expected, but I had long enough to be sure that they can stand on their own in all cases (action films out loud).

It seems that there is a gradient feature in TV that is difficult to know where to buy a. I must admit that, even after ordering this unit, I was not sure if I forked a bit 'more. Having experienced this, however, I have absolutely no regrets. I think that in a 32 "should be easy if you are able to separate themselves from the hype password. Why pay for pixel density literally your eye can not see? Even worse, why buy a faster" panel , which is poorer quality? Read more reviews.

Samsung LN46B530 Review - Samsung LN46B530 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I had been saving for my intro to the world HDTV for a good 18 months. I initially went with a 40 "TV and was watching a Sony, the KDL 40S4100 (later replaced by 40S5100). Then I decided I'd put the TV in a different room and looked at 46" TV. Once you settle on the 46 "size, and with my budget, I wanted one that looked Economic still fresh, but perhaps did not have all the features I was not using any case first with the TV standard. I expected to go automatically with 46 "version of the Sony model I was set up. After watching the TV in stores, though, the Samsung LN46B530 stuck as the best color and razor-sharp pictures of the TV in its price range / interval. Sony seemed a bit 'dull color next to this Samsung in the shops, but seemed to depend on what was in store and how they were connected. My brother has the LN46B650 with 120Hz, but did not want to spend the extra $ 400. I took my chances with the Samsung LN46B530 and 60Hz.

I have had Samsung LN46B530 TV for about a month and have no complaints. I have had for about a week before you get the HD receiver and was worried I would be disappointed even once HD was connected, but it really is night and day.
I mostly watch sports on it, and especially hockey for the sport. I have not seen in a football 120Hz vs 60Hz side by side so I have nothing to compare, but I do not feel I miss anything with watching sports in this 60Hz. I read some reviews of this TV, where they had some problems with some factors of production, etc., but I had no problems (again, if only 1 month).

One feature I like is the rotation function in that my room is setup where some seats have no real direct angle to the TV. E 'was easy to install very quickly. If I had to wall mount this, suppose that the lack of side entrances would be negative, but I was not wall mounting it. Read more reviews.

ViewSonic VT2430 Review - ViewSonic VT2430 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I bought the ViewSonic VT2430 24-inch 1080p HDTV PMS as something to go with my PS3, and it works fine. The picture quality is really good, and from any angle. When playing action games a lot faster, it actually performs much better than anything I've ever had before. I definitely recommend this setup for a PS3, or for viewing regular TV, as well as playing DVDs and Blu-ray beautifully.

The only complaint I have is that it only has an HDMI connection. My laptop has an HDMI output, and I use it with the laptop as well as the PS3, but I have to disconnect one and connect the other, which is a bit 'a nuisance.

Other than that, its a great product for the PS3, and movies. Read more reviews.

Samsung LN52B750 Review - Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color

Samsung LN52B750 Review, I did a lot of research and reduced my choice down to this Sony and Samsung. I went with the Samsung because the price was lower for the same specifications, features and reviews. I also have many other Samsung products that have served me well.

I am completely satisfied with the decision. The TV has an amazing picture and a lot of bells and whistles. The sound is perfectly acceptable, but a good surround sound system would be a nice addition.

One of the things that interests me most is the network function. The Yahoo widgets are clean, yet not without a little 'slow and have limited functionality. They work well for video on demand via Blockbuster or Amazon. Which shines the networking is really at stake their own content. I already had a Linux server that I setup with a program called MiniDLNA. This program allows you to play videos, music and pictures right out of your computer. It works great for watching movies, listening to music or wowing your guests with a presentation of images. You can also do the same thing with a Windows PC, of course, but I would not recommend the program that comes with the TV. It 'easy to use, but does not work very well. For example, it allows you to access files over a network. There are a lot of programs available DLNA. More for free money or very little. It did not work with Windows Media Player as a DLNA server.

All in all Samsung LN52B750 is a great TV and highly recommended. Read more reviews.

Samsung UN55B6000 Review - Samsung UN55B6000 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN55B6000 Review, We did extensive research before you "settling for" this Samsung UN55B6000 HDTV. LCD Samsung are leaders in the category, but you have to shop wisely;) We were impressed with the LED-backlit steps (6,7,8) - dash of color, in cases incredibly slim, great features and exceptional image quality . These are not the LCD of the past days; pixelation is almost gone, and black levels are impressive. You will find critical reviews online, and are useful for comparison purposes, but you really need to see these sets in person to appreciate the recent advances in imaging technology.

For reviews and in person, the flagship 8500 offers an unprecedented viewing experience, but has a price to match. However, we were impressed by the quality image offered by this "entry-level" Series 6 LED-backlit TV for at least $ 1500 less. The specifications (response time of 4ms; 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz processing) can not be on par with the 8500, but you need to see these TVs in person before spending the extra money. Keep in mind that none of these televisions will be surprising in the house.

Through Amazon, we beat the prices of our local shops' of at least $ 500 (and received free shipping). The delivery was easy, because these TVs are extremely light for their size. And despite the 1.2 "thick case, the TV frame feels solid. That said, if you have children or pets, may be useful both in this series wall-mount or use the included docking to prevent any possibility of reversing the set off of its base.

I think the only negative so far is the lack of analog inputs, but we knew this before buying. We have an old DVD player connected via component inputs, and everything that is connected via HDMI. A friend brought over a PS2 for a party last night, but we were unable to connect, as it was only analog outputs (unlike the PS3). So make sure to evaluate your system for connectivity before purchasing.

All in all, a great TV! It was not cheap by any means, but it offers great features and is the cheapest option for the top-of-the-line set. Read more reviews.

Samsung UN55B8000 Review - Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN55B8000 Review, I made a lot of research before buying the Samsung UN55B8000 LED HDTV from Amazon. Actually I had already decided to buy from BestBuy, but when I saw the price on Amazon I ordered online and delivered two days he was here in time for my installer put on my wall.

My consultant/installer wanted me to buy an LCD (backlit vs. edge-lit), but when he finished putting in my audio system and dismissed the entire system said it was stunned and amazed at the quality of the picture and says that my choice of television was better than his recommendation!

Mine is suspended in a niche space in the wall of cabinets entertainment center in our living room and my problem with my DLP TV was the old thoughts from my wall of windows on the side and back of our seating. By tilting wall mount and the incredible brightness of this TV the glare is not a problem any longer. The TV automatically updated its firmware, once connected to the internet and with my Harmony 900 remote my wife can now easily manage all my components: DirecTV DVR, Apple TV, iPod, free BluRay DVD I got with this TV , and the Wii, with no written instructions or a phone call to me when the grandchildren want to watch a DVD.

The other thing that was great and I had done a lot of anxiety in the past with Amazon was their supplier delivery here in the DFW area. I had left to buy from Amazon for a year because of this, but when I saw that Amazon threw his shipping company and my old TV was delivered by Pilot Freight Services has sealed the deal. Pilot called to schedule the delivery and again when en route and were very professional when he arrived and the mail box in my living room for the installer to decompress.

I highly recommend Samsung UN55B8000 HDTV. Read more reviews.

Samsung UN46B6000 Review - Samsung UN46B6000 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN46B6000 TV is simply sexy. The slim profile is a huge selling point when it comes to first impressions, but the vivid colors, the brightness of the screen amazing, and razor sharp pictures are the real star here. All the visual aspects of Samsung UN46B6000 TV are just indescribable.

The one with comes to mind is the auto-dimming. When the screen is mostly dark objects and the contrast, brightness of the screen generally diminishes to give the illusion of deep blacks. Usually it works like a charm, but can be a little 'annoyance when you're in the middle of a dark scene in a video game, trying to find something.

I checked around, and this seems to be a common complaint. I heard rumors that Samsung would release a software update that includes the option to disable this feature in the OSD. 'm All for that!

Function automotion Plus has 4 settings: Clear (bass), standard (average), Smooth (top), and Off. I keep it on "Delete". This seems to get rid of any blurring, but avoid making the picture look fake. Most movies and television shows are shot at 24fps (frames per second). If the speed that up to the fastest was originally shot, you start to look artificial. This annoys me. The only time I turn on the "smooth" setting are directed at sports and nature shows (such as Planet Earth on Blu-Ray!). Those types of shows are shot at 30fps, which is better with 120Hz refresh rate known as "Smooth".

Hope this helps!

But just to reiterate .... Samsung UN46B6000 TV is AMAZING!

Oh, and for those of you who complain about the sound quality of built-in speakers ... The TV is 1 "thick! Just what do you realistically expect? E 'as to complain about the sound quality of speakers in your mobile. .... Seriously, if you're going to invest so much into a television, a pony and getting a 5.1 system. Even a good market. Panasonic VIERA G1 Series TC-L37G1 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Panasonic VIERA G1 Series TC-L37G1 37-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

Panasonic VIERA G1 Series TC-L37G1 Review, Overall an excellent quality LCD TV. Sound could be better, but the image quality is top notch with plenty of adjustments. The options allow you to lower or disable the refresh rate of 120Hz. You can also choose between size HD 1 and HD 2 dimensions, which allows the signal to be scaled for 95% of the images (in the case of noise on board) or 100%. Swivel base is sturdy and useful and the remote is ok too. For those of you who are divided between a Panasonic VIERA G1 Series 32" and 37" for a medium sized bedroom get the 37 ". Originally I purchased the 32" Panasonic VIERA G1 Series, which was a mistake. Are about 9 feet from the set and 32 "was too small for the sports games of 37" is spot on. You can not go wrong at the beginning of the training model from Panasonic. As always, Amazon is awesome, back and received the new TV every few days. Read more reviews.

Samsung UN46B8500 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung UN46B8500 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN46B8500 Review, I received my Samsung UN46B8500 HDTV this past Monday. It come a day earlier than the scheduled delivery. Yes, it's a lot of money to pay for a TV, but believe me, there are none better. Set-up was easy. I am a bit 'surprised by all the negative comments regarding the loading time widget. My widgets load very quickly and I have no complaints. I connected my Xbox 360 and all I can say is WOW! It takes some 'getting used to playing on a big screen. I had a 30 "Sanyo HD CRT before. The TV looks great and I have absolutely no complaints. If you're considering Samsung UN46B8500 HDTV, DO IT! Not be disappointed! Read more reviews.

Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

I just bought Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 tv and it seems very good. I watched a lot of plasma and LCD and plasma decided I'm just a casual TV viewer. I also bought a Blu-ray and hook this in a couple of days. I took some advice on settings and photos is the best thing I've seen. My Den is brilliant, at times, but do not notice any glare.

One of the reviews mentioned that they had manufactering oil out of the box on the screen. No problem with that. The unit was wrapped well and very clean. I also have no problems with the delivery since I took this to the store. I have a great even better then here on Amazon will also pay sales tax.

I gues you can take a chance with any TV. I have a 37 inch Samsung LCD and I have not had any problems. I chose Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 because side by side the Panasonic image quality was better.

So far so good. If there is a problem that will be updated. Read more reviews.

Samsung PN50B550 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung PN50B550 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

Samsung PN50B550 Review, I just replaced my Samsung 50 "DLP with this Samsung PN50B550. WOW! I used to think that the DLP was fine until I replaced it with Samsung PN50B550. The colors are amazing and the pictures so clear and bright. I did research for about six months and read all the arguments for LCP compared to plasma, LCD and Plasma respect. It 'all came down to how this TV displays the contents of my HD from Time Warner. Amazing. I liked the more natural colors that plasma offers.

I had two concerns about plasma televisions. One was for phosphorus burns but I watched the football playoffs for the whole weekend with the logos of the network and Fox-box fills the screen and no hint of burn-in. I do not think fixing modern plasmas have the same problems several years ago.

The other concern was the life of the panel, but these groups are estimated at 100,000 hours (11 years to watch TV 24 hours a day) compared to 60,000 hours for the LCD monitor.

I also discussed 720p compared to 1080p since all content on cable and 720p or 1080i, but the price of this series 1080p is so low it was an easy decision. I also looked at Panasonics comparable, but the Samsung was just offered a higher value and better image quality (for me). Consumer Reports also like this set and Samsung (and Panasonic), in general. For almost a great deal in this is the best way - I paid more than twice that for my 720p DLP + 3 years ago.

Do your own research, go to the box stores to see them in person, but eventually you will agree Samsung PN50B550 is the best value HDTV. Read more reviews.

Samsung PN50B450 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung PN50B450 50-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV

Samsung PN50B450 Review, I had to write a review to tell everyone about Samsung PN50B450 HDTV, First I purchased Samsung PN50B450 TV to replace the old projection television and a tube television bending and being new TV, I must say that I was put off at first.

I could say the picture is clearer than my Sony projection TV and look more dynamic and at the same time, he had a slight advantage twice just a little 'upset me so I went back to the shop.

I replaced it with the same model of Samsung I had before and returned home was exactly the same. I have Dish Network and I called them they said they need the new TV to watch HD perfect, and I took them out and put in HD on the TV all I can say is WOW. What a difference, I have never seen a clearer picture on any TV in my life, every detail is amazing and perfect and I have friends with LCD TV HD 1080i and exceeds them in color and clarity.

Noise reduction should never be turned on and there is no clarity you want to keep about 36 for brightness and keep it around 50, is too strong on this setting. If people are in search of plastic that you have set wrong in NR or saturation. I'm picky about how my TV image and thought I'd pay 3 times as much to get this kind of quality is like looking through a clear window glass. If you connect to abandon HD, you never know what your missing if you do not hoo to HD will not ever again without it. I also noticed that shows 1980 X 1080i if the HD I thought that a value of 720p I'm not complaining ..

One thing that the TV does not get hot or artifacts or screen burn problems. Plasma 42 that I bought is hot on the back is a Zenith and worries me a bit 'since I only buy.

I also wantd to tell you all new TVs are made for digital and HD if you're picky about the image you end up installing HD if your TV is 50 or more. Read more reviews.

Sharp LC22DV27UT Review - Must Read Before Buying a Sharp LC22DV27UT 22-Inch LCD HDTV with Built-In DVD Player, Black

Sharp LC22DV27UT Review, if you want a small LCD HDTV with built-in DVD, you can choose from Sharp, Toshiba, LG, and some lesser names and trademarks chineese. Since I had no luck with Sharp and bad luck with Toshiba in the past, I've waited for this model is available (all summer). So far have not disappointed.

Sharp LC22DV27UT, Pros: great picture, you can easy to adjust the brightness, backlight, etc. to modify it. I like the factory settings so far. - The sound is more than enough for this size TV - Tuner harvest every available signal with antenna base, attic-mounted - DVD player works very well - better viewing angles than I expected.

Sharp LC22DV27UT, Cons: Non-regular basis (I do not care because I have a wall in a bedroom with a beautiful layout Remote tilting mounting) - (probably not so bad. I just used for layout of Samsung and I 'd just get used to this ). The actual size of the screen is less than 22 inches. This TV (HxW) is smaller than my 22 "Samsung (kitchen - no DVD) because the frame is thinner and the screen is 21.5" diagonally. So if you have a small space, which could be a good thing.

Really, I'm thinking Sharp LC22DV27UT is the best 22 "LCD w / DVD out there. The price is not bad and the image / sound as good as you get in this TV class. Decent, swivel arm, tiltable, wall-mount it can have for $ 30. Bought TV via Video Audio Center without a hitch. Read more reviews.

LG 42LH50 Review - Must Read Before Buying a LG 42LH50 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz Broadband LCD HDTV, Gloss Black

LG 42LH50 Review, I agree with reviewers who have taken note of the very good picture, ease of setup, functionality, control and access to the Internet. I had this unit for about $ 800, and I'm happy with the price. I too want this unit has a wireless capability, but I solved the problem by connecting a modem and router directly to the TV. This was necessary because I did not have a cable internet in the TV room (bedroom), and it took a couple of hours working through the instructions on-line connection.

A couple of suggestions: Go with the biggest TV you can afford. LG 42LH50 TV looks good from 10 feet, but I would not want any smaller. For those of us who made do with the TV 19 inches for many years, it seems necessary to have such dimensions, but believe me, size matters. Want bigger.

Note that the collection of movies for streaming Netflix online is limited. There are some great films available, but are generally older. Vudu is the latest in eye-popping HD, but you must pay at least $ 2.99 per film.

LG 42LH50 HDTV sound is only average. I'm thinking of adding external speakers.

Use the disk included for set-up and / or technical issues. The paper guide is brief and inadequate.

Overall, a Very good HDTV, with cutting edge features that I have grown to love.Read more reviews.

Samsung PN42B450 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung PN42B450 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV

Samsung PN42B450 is 42" HDTV with 720p resolution, This HDTV offers easy connectivity through 3 HDMI ports (1 side) and 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Samsung PN42B450, Pros: Very good picture, no blur with fast-moving images at all. Content standard def looks bad on a lot of HD televisions, but it looks very good on this. Video games look perfect. Color set looked great out of the box too. The delivery company that Amazon has been used time and led to my house.

Samsung PN42B450, Cons: The speakers are not good and they sound very metallic. Granted all flat screens are doing all this speaker facing down thing, but it is still good. Sure I have a 5.1 system, but half of what I watch (news) does not need 5.1.

No S-video input.

Overall: very happy with this purchase and would do it again. Read more reviews.

VIZIO VA370M Review - Must Read Before Buying a VIZIO VA370M 37-Inch Full HD 1080p LCD HDTV

VIZIO VA370M TV is an excellent television marked by a pack design choice and short-sighted.

Vizio does not make it easy to compare models with their seemingly useless patterns that overlap with the public. Their site is also very poor in this regard. When I could not find the "Compare" on their website, after the addition of various models for the "compare list" I called their 1-800 number. Their representative also could not find the button! It 'been so for the last two weeks.

Returning to VIZIO VA370M TV - the image, sound, everything looks great, with this TV. But I'm really mad that they decided to leave out a simple analog audio-out for a TV high-end. It has four HDMI inputs, two composite inputs and a component input and RGB input - going quite overboard with regard to the inputs are concerned if you ask me, but inexplicably skimps when it comes to the outlet side.

The USB input, which is functional in VIZIO VA370M model, instead of "service only" as in many other similar models, it is good for an occasional slideshow of an album of photos or something. But maintaining a disk (thumb drive or hard disk) connected all the time it takes to press the button "ok" for a request every time you turn on the TV. Pretty boring.

I have not had much luck with live pause function that allows you to Pause Live TV like Tivo, if you plug a USB drive yet. I hope it is because of some problems with the speed of the thumb-drive, even then, if that means having to press hard every time you turn on the TV would much prefer to skip using that. See above.

The lack of analog output, in my opinion, is very irritating, annoying and frustrating. In fact, I have some choice words for those responsible for this decision to the Vizio, but Amazon does not print the review if I am not.

Because of this I can not connect wireless headsets that I use for all my TV late at night to watch. This model has a headphone output, but connect anything that comes off the main sound. So it's all or nothing, and therefore not suitable for connecting to something permanent. Now, I have to look for a digital-analog converter, which retails around 70-80 dollars.

And 'well known that many people connect these TV home audio systems. Since it is bold enough to take part Vizio that a single optical digital out is all you need. So I am giving VIZIO VA370M TV otherwise very end only 3 stars. Read more reviews.

Samsung LN26B460 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung LN26B460 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Samsung LN26B460 is a great HDTV for your bedroom or den. Works well as a computer monitor too. I was a bit 'surprised when I opened the package and discovered that the basis of Samsung LN26B460 HDTV is different from the base depicted in the photo Amazon. The base in the picture is transparent. This corresponds to the transparent faceplate that extends the base of this LCD. What I received has a solid black base that matches the rest of the shiny black lacquer set. One unit of interest in general, but would look better with the transparent base. This set is surprisingly easy to set up and use. The supplied remote is well planned and easy to use. (not cluttered with a lot of unnecessary buttons) exceptional image quality even in the absence of an HD signal. Standard cable signal is beautifully reproduced on this point. I connected a Samsung Blu-ray and was totally impressed with the HD images.
I recommend Samsung LN26B460 HDTV to anyone looking to Samsung quality at a competitive price. Read more reviews.

Toshiba 32RV525R Review - Must Read Before Buying a Toshiba 32RV525R 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I purchased Toshiba 32RV525R HDTV on the infamous Gold Box Deal of the Day. I was skeptical of the "low end" of the TV, but decided I could not get how I could use it in the bedroom when I have my dream 'perfectly cool' and 'advanced LED HDTV' in the near future. I love HDTV that have great detail and freshness to the point of awe. I received the TV 2 days later, after ordination, in the evening, during the operation.

I install the HDTV and the size works perfectly in my living room that my viewing space between the couch and the TV is only appropriate for TV (not a large living room). Besides the air HDTV channels are available with the digital tuner inside.

The picture is pretty Good. It is not the perfection I wanted and that is not very fresh and not bring awe. This is what the TV rather than expensive lead. For the transaction price and the selling price of TV is now, is a great purchase to make sure you view and satellite transmission. I was pleased and glad I bought it. I bought a PS3 and to view the streaming of Netflix, blu-ray, DVD up-conversion, and play. The image that the PS3 brings to the table is very crisp, clear and detailed. HDMI seems to bring out the best of TV as always should. Played a demo pair and that seemed like the perfect test of a Blu-Ray. I just was impressed.

In short: Toshiba 32RV525R HDTV is not on top of the line, as is obvious, and was not intended to be. Instead this is a "low-end TV that was not intended to be low-end, and is a very" in high-end and especially low-end product. If you have a large living room, consider getting Toshiba 32RV525R TV for the bedroom. If you have a dorm or small apartment, the TV can meet the current needs in the living room for the price. Samsung LN19B360 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung LN19B360 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black

Samsung LN19B360 Review, I was instructed to get a small HDTV to put in the kitchen of my parents'. After reading lots of reviews online and watching some HDTV sets in local stores, I finally decided to take the plunge with this unit, even if there were complaints of sound quality and viewing angles are small. I have several friends with the biggest LCD Samsung and all were very satisfied, so I trusted the brand.

I'm pretty glad I did. Samsung LN19B360 TV now sits on a confrontation between the central kitchen and dining area, and while it is obviously not so clear from every corner, as is straight, its horizontal viewing angle is at least as good as other LCD I've seen and better than many. Not really test the vertical viewing angle of a lot, since it is life for chest, but it seemed acceptable to me, when I sat on the floor in front of it.

I was only marginally concerned about the sound as they have the ability to switch audio through the kitchen area of their distribution system sound, but the speakers hold up well for what they are. Do not expect the same sound coming out of the bar sound of a 42-62" TV, since these speakers are much smaller, but big enough to fill the kitchen / dining room well. I do not know if I've got a great unit or is it just more quiet place to our guests from other ', but I do not see us having to turn up the volume much higher than 60 out of 100.

Can not really comment on the overall quality picture as they are only running standard definition to it, at this point, but the colors are great.

Highly recommend this model for anyone looking for a small set of base.

Samsung LN19B360,Pro:
- Good color
- Easy to configure
- Price: $171 (Check for lowest prices.) taken to be shipped during a special

Samsung LN19B360,Cons:
- Muting the sound the unit does not change the pass-through of audio signal

Neutral:
- The sound is not as good as HDTVs larger, but this is expected with small speakers. Read more reviews.

Samsung UN46B8000 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung UN46B8000 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN46B8000 is ultra-slim 46-inch LED HDTV with full HD 1080p resolution and Auto Motion Plus 240Hz technology for the sharpest, smoothest image possible. It's Eco-Friendly & energy saving, LED TV Samsung use up to 40 percent less energy than traditional LCD TVs.

This Samsung UN46B8000 LED HDTV is the best experience of picture I've seen. I purchased through Amazon.com to replace a Pioneer Professional Plasma Display into my living room. The nice thing is the LED Samsung also makes HD movies on HBO, Showtime, etc. .. seem to have depth [3D-like experience]. Even watching the NFL experience is impressive as there is a very smooth with incredible clarity - it will be even better when more shows are broadcast in 1080p vs 1080i. I have a Samsung Blu-ray via HDMI connection and I am even more amazed with the quality of the image as it leads to the "next level". The option of free shipping was good and arrived within a week of purchase.

As far as connections go, I bought two separate 25 'HDMI cables through Amazon and I can confirm the quality is not true 1080p image / signal loss and had an ethernet cable ran to the TV for Yahoo Widgets and access DLNA. I was a bit 'hesitant about buying the tv, as it is mounted above my fireplace and received a quote from a home theater installer to "bury" the wires in the wall for more than $ 600. After calling my electrician who wired the house, the total was $ 130 to move an electrical outlet, run two HDMI cables and an Ethernet cable, plus an additional cost for drywall finishing / repair after it was over. I also purchased the Samsung Slim wall mount and the electrician received the grip on the pin for a total collections / without mounting.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Read more reviews.

Samsung LN26B360 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung LN26B360 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Samsung LN26B360 is 26-inch HDTV with 720p resolution, contrast and brightness levels achieve new heights with a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1, a very fast 8ms response time virtually eliminates any blurring and you smooth scenes action of the movement.

I bought this Samsung LN26B360 HDTV a week ago for use in my office. I wanted a screen that could be used as a TV for my cable and Xbox 360 and also as a display for my PC and Mac Mini. So far this has been a phenomenal solution. E 'super convenient to sit at a 26 "screen and pressing the button on the remote to switch sources on cable TV, Windows 7, Mac OS X or my Xbox 360 dashboard.

I'm not an A / V so snobbish, my idea of a good image, probably falls into the category of "good enough". That said, I owned a Sharp Aquos LCD TVs and 2 Samsung. Of the three that I owned I think this is the best image. The really pleasant surprise is that Time Warner has told me that the only way to get HD channels with their HD cable box equipped. But I found with the signal cable coming off of the coaxial cable from my wall, the TV is picking up the network of channels in HD. Even without the HDMI connection, which provides a much better picture then what I am used to get.

So far I do not really have any complaints or negative comments on this Samsung LN26B360 HDTV. It 'been a fantastic addition to my office at home for both productivity and play.Read more reviews.

LG 42LH30 Review - Must Read Before Buying a LG 42LH30 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black

LG 42LH30 is 1080p Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080p with 3x HDMI v 1.3 digital inputs and PC input, 50,000:1 Dynamic contrast ratio, Conserve money and energy. With an Energy Star 3.0 rating, you can be green and save green. I'm looking for a nice 42 "LCD 1080 and ran across this one. Compared to the competition LG seems more than hold his own, plus the price point is excellent. Guest Other parts of the bonus points, so do not go into them just to say that I have found that this is the best bang 'for the dollar' in 1080 LCD TV 42 ". LG, while it is still considered a great brand in America, I have bought many products LG, when I lived in Thailand in 2005.

I found them to be excellent products then and still does. Overseas LG sells all types of products. One could almost say it is the GE of Asia - except LG TV are superior to any GE products - with a huge margin.

I also have a 50 "Panasonic Plasma that I bought a couple of years ago, when that model was rated # 1 by Consumer Reports. This LG 42LH30 HDTV has a superior picture and is perfect for what I need.

If you buy LG 42LH30 - you'll be happy. Read more reviews.

Toshiba REGZA 42ZV650U Review - Must Read Before Buying a Toshiba REGZA 42ZV650U 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with ClearScan 240, Black

Toshiba REGZA 42ZV650U is 42-inch LCD HDTV with full HD 1080p resolution and elegant Deep Lagoon design.I have had this TV for several weeks now. I am very satisfied. I connected to one of my PC I'm using now to write this review as a PC-monitor. The resolution is great. I added a Blu-Ray internal drive for less than $ 60 (the software player included) for this PC and have been watching Blu-Ray with this set up. The pictures were wonderful and beautiful clear on many of the films.

In the beginning ... There is a black border around the image. For a while, 'I did not know what to do. I noticed that there are a few selections for the size of image: complete, 1-3 theater wide, 4:3 and native. Native provides the best resolution, but with the black border, while the theater level would cut out the image, but use the whole screen. Equip my PC with an ATI graphics card and the next was what I did to solve the problem black border. If you have a different graphics card, there may be a similar solution.

Open Catalyst Control Center (CCC)
Go to your desktop and shows
Right-click on the little monitor icon on the bottom left
Click Configure.

Note: CCC has shown that this TOSHIBA REGZA 42ZV650U reported a maximum refresh rate of 75 Hz, which is the best I've seen on a LCD flat screen TVs. There are many settings here, but do not apply any settings that the monitor does not support it.

Select the tab support HDTV, and select the box that shows the correct format color LCD screen for your support. Click Apply after everything is set.

More info: Vista 64, Catalyst 9.8, ATI Radeon HD 3870, DVI-HDMI cable, and this TOSHIBA REGZA 42ZV650U HDTV. Read more reviews.

Samsung UN40B7000 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung UN40B7000 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN40B7000 is Ultra-slim 40-inch LED HDTV with full HD 1080p resolution for the sharpest picture possible, plus increased energy savings. We have waited years to be able to afford an LED HDTV. We needed to set the LED due to health problems with normal LCD televisions. (One of our family members are sensitive to fluorescent lighting (used as a backlight LCD) and heart problems when they are exposed to these TV). We purchased the Samsung UN40B7000 and could not be happier with it. TV LED uses much less power, does not generate much heat and no radiation emanating from the backlight found in most LCD TVs. Our family members with the fluorescent sensitivity is now able to watch TV without problems. And since there are fluorescent bulbs, there's no mercury to the environment when the TV is beyond its useful life.

Samsung UN40B7000 HDTV produces excellent black and can also be quite bright, if necessary. Samsung Anynet feature is great when you use it with their other components such as Blu-ray. Functions extra content such as Yahoo! Widgets are nice add-ons. We have provided our best Samsung TV with Blu-ray including Netflix and Pandora on the Internet. We use these features of all time.

The set is very charming and very thin. Technically, it keeps us very well against the best LCD.

We recommend the Samsung UN40B7000 HDTV. Read more reviews.

Sony BRAVIA XBR KDL-32XBR9 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Sony BRAVIA XBR KDL-32XBR9 32-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

Sony BRAVIA XBR KDL-32XBR9 is a great HDTV for the range $ 500 - $ 600 dollars. (I never pay full price for the TV.)

The picture is great, good sound from small speakers with TruSurround on. Just turn up the bass a bit '.
Some have complained about the HDMI on the side, but you can get cards that will angle the cables down.
Other complaints about things like the sleep timer, etc., are not so bad. You should get a complete manual with the TV, though. Or the chance to go online and a print.
When purchasing an HDTV, you must consider two things: the image of the TV you are buying and the input signal HD.
Some people are having problems might have something to do with the signal than the TV.
Always check from different sources - cable box vs. antenna input - if it detects a problem.
Which brings me to COMCAST ...
Case in point - Comcast sucks.
Through their cable box of choice, the Motorola DCH3416, you get a window that tells you, on the face, what kind of signal you are processing on each channel.
It is either 1080i or 480i.. There are other options, but Comcast, the window covers only these two flavors from what I can say.
And when you switch from one to another, you get a sound out loud * pop *.
And sometimes, when going from HD to SD, you get a sound out loud * POP *... and then no video. Audio but no video.
So, I also have the cable that goes directly to the antenna input.
Go back and forth between HD and SD channels .... no pop. No problem.
Sony BRAVIA XBR KDL-32XBR9 TV tells you what the signal you're getting well, 1080, 480, even 720.
A simple Google search tells me that this problem has been ongoing for months for Comcast customers, and other brands of televisions as well.
It is the box, not the TV.
Comcast will solve this problem?
Maybe in ten years, who knows?
Furthermore, we have promised in the box Motorola DVR made by TiVo, and we're still waiting.
Conclusion: great photos on your TV (for a good price), the small stuff you can live with, and Comcast sucks. Read more reviews.

Samsung LN52B550 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung LN52B550 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

Samsung LN52B550 is 52-inch LCD HDTV with full HD 1080p resolution for the sharpest picture possible and red Touch of Color design. I settled on Samsung LN52B550, because the price was right for a big TV, and Samsung is known for great quality TVs. I was not disappointed, this is a TV spectacular with crystal clear sharp images and vibrant with good sources.

TV: standard definition looks good, and probably as it should. And 'the only format that does not look great on this TV, but probably should not anyway.

DVD: I have a large library of DVDs and wanted a TV that can show that the best way possible. Samsung LN52B550 TV does that when connected through my Blu-Ray via HDMI cable. Some films of lower quality you need to run at 480p for a better view (you can change the setting of the reader), but many upconvert very well and are difficult to distinguish from Blu-ray, seriously.

Blu-ray: Flawless sharp images and good records, just spectacular.

PS3 and X-Box: Video game look and move incredibly, without blurring at all, it seems clear, sharp and beautiful. Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and many other games was beautiful.

Note: The content has a huge impact on picture quality, DVD, HDTV, and Blu-rays all vary in quality, so expect that some will not be as great as the others. I think the TV should be judged by how well it handles the content, and this TV rocks. So 95% of this time you will be impressed. Sound on Samsung LN52B550 TV is great, if you are used to a home theater setup a home theater, but the speakers work very well on this TV and are very clear and strong.

I have not noticed any motion blur in any film for both DVD and Blu-ray (also Transformers on Blu-ray). Watching football, I have difficulty deciding whether the content or the TV causing graininess very, very minor (rarely), so I can say that there is virtually no motion blur evident with this TV despite its specifications have a frequency Update 6 ms, while the higher-end models have 2 or 4 ms. But to clarify, football looks awesome! Just like everything else.

Based on my experience with Samsung LN52B550 TV over the past three weeks, I think that spending lots of money will take only incremental improvements in quality of image at all but the most serious videophile, nobody would be able to tell the difference between This TV is costing twice as much. Samsung LN40B530 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung LN40B530 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

Samsung LN40B530 is 40-inch high definition TV with 1080p resolution. With exceptional image quality and superior features, sharper, clearer, more detailed images are delivered with incredible intensity on the screen panel clear, allowing you to enjoy quality and versatility that indulge all the senses.

Excellent features on this TV for the money and make it a full 1080p high value for your buck. The picture quality is superb for an LCD (We also have a larger plasma) and the coupling is extremely simple and idiot proof.

I would recommend getting the service contract, as you can always cancel at a later date for a full refund and you will be totally satisfied with your purchase.

Samsung is a leading manufacturer that makes only stand behind their product and goes out for repair, if not successful. Our 50 "plasma had a problem of power failure after about 4 months for a service technician came out within 2 days and replaced the damaged curcuit board for free. This was big for Circuit City, where we bought the TV was gone!

Yet another good reason to buy this from Sears and get the warranty.

With the price I shopped this TV is so difficult, and Sears was dollar for dollar against all the others! Read more reviews.

Samsung PN50B650 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung PN50B650 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

Samsung PN50B650 is 50 inches of 1080p Full HD picture performance artistically accented in a new Touch of ColorTM design. After having Samsung PN50B650 TV for a few months, I really like and have zero regrets. I considered this TV with an S1 and Panasonic G10, but I ended up deciding that the Samsung PN50B650 was the best value.

Samsung PN50B650 PROS:

- The image is great
- The USB ports are the side are impressive, although I ended up connecting slot of my computer with a DVI port HDMI cable (monoprice for $ 5) you can upload your DivX movies on a flash drive and play them directly on your TV
- The swivel base is really nice (and something the lack Panasonics)
- The TV looks awesome - it looks very nice glassy that looks great in your living room
- The image is very regular (even more than the S1 and, perhaps, and G10)
- N. considerable buzz (not a "feature" per se, but something that others have complained)

Samsung PN50B650 CONS:
- Restriction on odd PIP, which allows only OTA TV to be paired with another source (as opposed to splitting the screen between the decoder and a video game, for example)
- Even though the screen display is very easy to use, it is a little 'lag

These are really my only two complaints, neither of which are all significant (for my use, anyway). I recommend this TV to anyone in the market! Read more reviews.

Samsung LN46B630, PROS:
* Very nice picture, of course, large array of color changes
* 120Hz really makes a difference to how moving images look (alltough I compared several 120Hz TV has never seen another TV that looks like this, makes everything seem like a soap opera in 3D, it is hard to describe, we must live it! even my family members have pointed out)
* Customizable menu 120Hz
* Good looking TV, I think Samsungs are better looking TVs on the market
* Touch-sensitive buttons (like the LG Chocolate phone) always get complements all the first time you see them
* Swivel base (none have ever used, but still a nice feature not found on any TV)
* Hidden speakers (unlike some Sony models that have a bar at the bottom)
* Picture in Picture (works only when the two sources are trying to view are HD sources)
* Remote control has a piano black finish and is backlit
* The LCD screen has mate finish (helps to reduce the reflection of light)
* Play Media over the 2 USB ports (picture view. Watch videos, play music)

Samsung LN46B630, CONS:
* Sound, allthough it is strong is not that good ... but then again, you can not ask a lot from two speakers small and hidden. Getting a home theater system
* The bezel TV allthough its pretty nice looking it is also a magnet powder and can be easily scratched if we are not careful, this is also true for the remote as well.
* The touch-sensitive buttons would be perfect if they had lit, you can not see them at night and, of course, you can not feel put aside. You can also turn on / turn off the TV by chance every time you are cleaning.
* Does not support regular Wi-Fi connectivity for RSS news feed, you must buy a USB dongle Samsung.

That's all I can think of for now.
All in all Samsung LN46B630 is a pretty good TV, and offers pretty good bang for your buck. Read more reviews.

- Good swivel base, although I wish that turned another 45 degrees.
- The image is good and has minimal glare problems even with strong ambient lighting.
- Amazon sells directly. Buy from Amazon, when possible. They provide excellent customer service.

The Bad:
- Do not know where the controls for turning the system on and off are, but I know that the CIA needs to hire because Samsung sure know how to keep a secret. Fortunately, I use the remote control most of the time anyway.
- Some ghosting with the HD channels, but the issues are many pictures of a function of the cable box or satellite and not the TV. The way to test this is to play a DVD of high quality. If the picture quality is great here, then it might be the cable / satellite and its connections, that is the problem. However, some LCD monitors seem to do a better job with the HD broadcasts.
Can ask your cable company to help create the TV to maximize the image quality of the broadcasts that are not 1080 resolution.
- Framework is not as obvious to regular channels, as it was with a standard TV.
- Too boring and slow to change input sources. Would have appreciated if the car TV intuition when a DVR is set to play automatically and to it. Similarly, stopping the DVR must return the image of the TV source. This is like a TV 15 years, I have works and I expected something similar with an LCD TV today. Granted, the LCD allows many more sources (DVR, PC, Blu-Ray), but the display should be able to switch automatically from any game before you set the power play.
- A good average, but this was expected and I'm going to play the audio through a proper sound system anyway.
- Slow to change channels, even though I'm not sure what cable television has to do with this or that digital systems are slower in this kind of thing.
- Poor service Samsung customers. A relative has had a B630 (matte screen), which would not have come at times and had problems with other image. Called Samsung Customer Service. They said they would arrange a service call and someone would get back to me. From the moment they returned a week later, we had already arranged to restore the system and purchase something else.

It can review the widgets and Internet capabilities included in this system, as I do not use them. I use my PC for that. Similarly, I do not see much difference with the function 240 Hz, but I have not tested enough to examine.

Have connected with HDMI cables to the box of cables and component cables for my DVD. Before you buy HDMI cables, check with your cable company to ensure their cable box has HDMI outputs.

Getting a 3-year extended warranty from Square Trade (the unit comes with a one-year warranty and Square Trade extended it 2 years), as Samsung looks a little 'shaky to deal with, despite making an outstanding LCD TV. Read more reviews.

Samsung LN40B630 Review - Must Read Before Buying a Samsung LN40B630 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

Samsung LN40B630 is an easy to setup & easy to use menu, well designed, great looking TV, The Samsung 630 series is an amazing purchase. I did not buy on Amazon, so I can not speak for the shipment, but the quality of this TV is of high caliber. Initial setup has less than 30 minutes to assemble all of the stand, secure the screen and start watching Blu Ray. The unit links seamlessly with my Samsung Blu Ray BDP1600 Samsungs BD through Wise and two-way communication between the player and television is a nice feature that allows you to synchronize the two settings, etc. Check for lowest prices.

The screen is crisp and the outer frame is excellent. The TV has multiple inputs enough to accommodate a large number of accessories. You can easily connect multiple devices to HDMI, which could be a serious problem on TV with inputs less.

120htz Motion Plus function is amazing for the sport, but new buyers should be aware of this function when the first to use the TV to watch movies. The function, in essence, increases the frame rate by extrapolating from the average new frames of existing ones. The end result, when watching sports is great, but the default settings when I first installed my Blu Ray was striking when viewing DVDs and Blu Rays. However, it was fairly easy to adjust this setting, once I realized what the problem was. Lowering the blur reduction and reducing vibration at about ¾ of an excellent quality of each product for viewing movies. Read more reviews.
